Some of my favorite FOOT WORKS products, including the 4-in-1 Pedicure Tool (not pictured because it's in the shower. Also not pictured are the two tools from my Pedicure Kit that I have misplaced 😶. #reallife)
I think we can all agree, there's nothing like treating yourself to a relaxing pedicure! In this post, I'll share with you the easy steps I follow for an effective, economical and SANITARY at home pedicure. With these easy to follow instructions you will save yourself time and money!First, treat your feet to a 15 minute soak in a basin (or if you have one, a fanschy dedicated foot spa that vibrates) of warm water with a handful of Epsom salts thrown in to soften those babies up a bit. Afterwards, dry them thoroughly (don't forget to dry in between those toes!). Then trim and file your toenails before pushing back the cuticles.
Now, let's tackle the rough spots with a foot file (if your heels are cracked, file in the same direction as the crack, not against it) and then smooth on a hydrating foot cream or balm.
And finally, the pièce de résistance, the cherry on the top of the cake: POLISH those piggies with a pretty color that makes you happy!
Your feet should look and feel amazing at this point, and you can proudly wear your sexiest, sassiest sandals with pride.
To keep those beautiful feet in tip top shape and soft as baby skin, apply a foot cream every night (I like to slip socks on after this step to help keep the moisture in).
Finally, a gentle reminder to keep your feet and toenails healthy and happy by keeping them clean and dry. And If you have special concerns like foot odor, athletes foot or achy feet, be sure to use a product you love to address those issues so you can feel confident when you kick off your shoes!
I hope this encourages you to take good care of your hard working feet. They and you, deserve it!
